The ALPHA Course is an introduction to the Christian faith in a friendly environment held over 8 weeks and a weekend away.
We run the ALPHA Course twice a year and each course is preceded by a Dinner Event which serves as a great introduction to the Course. A message by Nicky Gumbel (the pioneer of the ALPHA Course) entitled “Christianity: Boring, Untrue and Irrelevant?” is screened during the Dinner.
The Course topics give you an opportunity to explore the meaning of life and to consider the answers for some of the key questions that you will face concerning the claims of Christianity.
Week 1 : Who is Jesus?
Week 2 : Why did Jesus die?
Week 3 : How can I be sure of my faith?
Week 4 : Why and how do I pray?
Week 5 : Why and how should I read the Bible?
Week 6 : How does God guide us?
