“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”(Matt 9:37-38). The Lord has enlarged KY’s ministries, particularly in areas of caring for the poor & needy, the lost, the last and the least. There’s much to do, but not enough hands to do them. We ask KY people to get to know the gifts the Lord has deposited in us, and rise up to offer ourselves to serve in the areas of our gifting. This call is urgent, and the time to respond is now.
1) Call upon the Lord of the harvest to move sovereignly by His Spirit in every congregation of KY so that ALL will hear the call of the Lord. Pray that our eyes be opened; our hearts be moved; our spirits be stirred to respond to the cry of the nations, and serve the Lord of the harvest in whichever area He places us.
2) Acknowledge God’s desire to use us. No matter how small and unfit, untried, untested and unsure of ourselves, turn to the Lord to empower us and offer ourselves to God’s service now. Ask God to shake us out of the status quo. Ask Him to free us from the many good things in order that we may go after the God-things. Allow Him to surprise the world through KY people.
3) Our Daily Prayer for this week: “Lord I offer up my life to You as a living sacrifice for your Kingdom purpose .I surrender every personal desire and secret dream on the altar. I ask You to free me from every excuse that holds me back and everything that’s tying me down, from serving You. I will not hold back from giving You my best and my all. By faith, I will say “YES” to whatever You ask of me, and leave the impossible to You. Bless me with a spiritual inheritance that will please You, that will bring a smile on Your face.”
